SPIRITUAL PARENTING: Conflict Free Parenting Creating Positive Behaviors in Young Children w/ Kim Valeri MONDAY MAY 9th 10:45 - 11:45 am OR FRIDAY, MAY 20th 7 - 8 PM
INTRO to the SOFTER™ Method Mind-Body Program is a program which offers evidence based and timeless techniques that Kim Valeri, creator, has been using in her private healing practice for nearly over a decade. SOFTER™ (stop, observe, feel, think, evaluate and respond) is a way in which Kim hopes to begin to share yogaspirit® teachings for the benefit of parents and children of all ages to help create a conflict free culture with individuals who can make a positive choice. This program is designed to stop the instinctive reactions and responses that most everyone is familiar with and replace them with the ability to arrest negative reactions, expand awareness, evaluate the circumstances and elicit emotional intelligence ultimately to make more positive choices.
The ability to arrest the tendencies that may trigger the bully, make you feel like a victim, cause self inflicted injury, or worse, can lie in the ability to perceive oneself in the context of your life from a an objective and spiritual perspective. This way, the ability to stop, reflect, identify, discern, understand and choose which reaction you want to have is possible. Snapping under pressure is no longer necessary. Simply practicing the STOP method (the first stage of SOFTER™) for at least 10 minutes a day can make all the difference in your life.
At the seminar, you will be entered in a drawing to win a free copy of Kim's new SOFTER™ behavioral game that she uses in her own home. This remarkable game that has made parenting super easy and fun for both her and her children, is designed for elementary school aged children. For more information about Kim Valeri, yogaspirit® or SOFTER™ visit: www.yogaspiritstudios.com. Workshop fee = $20. Pre-registration required by contacting marnie_mysnyk@hotmail.com
